Girls beat boys
Currently, a total of 410 children attend the school established by our association. Of these, 199 are boys and 211 are girls. These figures fill us with great joy, as they show not only that our educational initiative is being accepted, but also that more and more girls are receiving the chance to go to school regularly.
Especially in many regions of Africa, access to education for girls is still not a matter of course. It is therefore all the more significant for us to see that the number of female students even slightly predominates. Education is a decisive key to a self-determined life, for better professional prospects, and for the sustainable development of the entire community.
Our school is more than just a place of learning: it is a safe space in which children are encouraged, develop social skills, and can draw hope for their future. Every single child who attends the school is a further step towards a more just society with more opportunities.
This success would not be possible without the support of our members, donors, and all dedicated helpers. Together, we are creating perspectives and investing in the future of 410 young people.
