A future for those Children

Why are we doing this? A project involving schools and so on? Begging and pleading for support and putting up with the sometimes unspeakable bureaucracy of the funding institutions?

We are doing this because the local people are very clear in their message: they know that they lack education, and they want their children to have a better life than they themselves have had.

That’s the answer: we’re doing this for these children! Because it should be the most normal thing in the world to leave this world in a better state for our children than we found it for the children of today.
